Care Guide

  • Light: Prefers low to moderate lighting. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, as it can cause the leaves to burn.
  • Water: Thrives in both freshwater and low-salinity brackish water. Keep the soil or substrate evenly moist, and avoid letting it dry out completely.
  • Humidity: While it can adapt to varying humidity levels, higher humidity promotes the best growth. Consider using a misting system for optimal results.
  • Soil: Prefers nutrient-rich, well-draining substrate. Can also be planted on rocks or driftwood in aquariums.
  • Temperature: Keep in temperatures between 68–82°F, avoiding extreme temperature fluctuations.
  • Pruning: Trim older leaves to encourage new growth and maintain the plant’s compact size.
  • Propagation: Easily propagated through runners or by dividing the plant’s rhizomes.
