Overview

Cryptocoryne parva is one of the smallest Cryptocoryne species available, making it a top choice for aquarists seeking a low-profile plant for foreground placement. Its narrow, bright green leaves create a clean and natural appearance, especially well suited for nano tanks, minimalist aquascapes, and detailed foreground designs. Once established, it spreads gradually through runners, forming a natural carpet over time.

Substrate

Plant in nutrient-rich substrate. Root tabs are highly recommended.

CO₂

Not required. Optional CO₂ may slightly improve growth.

Maintenance

Minimal maintenance. Growth is slow; carpeting occurs naturally through runners.

Planting / Application Instructions

  1. Rinse plant gently with clean aquarium water.

  2. Separate individual plantlets if bundled.
